Barbie Baby

I swear my name is Elle, but my Mom sometimes calls me her little Barbie. I am now just over 2 months old, and I don't think I have worn the same outfit twice.

Just last week Mom tried to put me in three different outfits (of course she took a quick picture of each one she got on me, even though I couldn't breath because some of them were so tight) before she found one that fit.

Apparently I am growing too fast for her to get all the outfits I own on me before I outgrow them; so each morning she digs out a new cute little number and blinds me with flashes from the camera while she documents that days new look.

I am so lucky to have so many cute clothes...Thanks to all my aunties, uncles and friends for the wonderful gifts I have recieved!

Aloha

My first 8 weeks of life have been eventful, it all began in Late May 2009. So there I was, just swimming laps in my ever shrinking pool (fortunately I'm really strong, and was still able to get some good kicks in!) When, without warning, my pool was emptying and some old guy yanked me out of my warm little home.Let me tell you, it was pretty scary with all the people and florescent lights, but then I was in my Dads arms and I felt much better (I knew it was him, because he spent hours talking to me before I was born; I could probably fix any engine with all the information he gave me while I swam laps). Those first few days were full of lots of things, but besides eating lots and lots of food, making faces at the cameras was my favorite part. I am already a pro at posing for pictures, and I'm only 2 months old!
Leaving the hospital was an adventure; with all the straps, clips, harnesses, buckles and multiple hands trying to secure me into the car I thought I might be getting shot into space or something, but all we did was drive down the road & went home to meet my puppy Suki. She was curious about me at first, then became a little jealous, but is now indifferent (unless a stranger holds me, then she stays close & tries to protect me).

Look how much I grew in 6 weeks! The doctors say I'm in the 95% for weight & height, Mom & Dad say I'm a chunky monkey.

I was lucky enough to meet Grandma Coco, who spoiled me, my Mom and my Dad for a few weeks. I have also met my Auntie Marci, My Cousin Beckett, my Auntie Heidi, my Auntie Megan, and my Uncle Dan.

(I am a girl, but my Dad dresses me in blue sometimes! Sorry Aunty Mel & Aunty Nicki)
I did something a couple days after I got home that my Mom and Dad still laugh about: My Dad put me on the changing table to change my diaper, he got the dirty diaper off, and was holding my feet up so he could put a new diaper under me, when I couldn't hold it any more... I shot a liquidy number 2 out that splattered across Dads shirt, onto his face, into his eye ball and over his head across the room. Dad freaked out!!!! I thought he and Mom were both crying, but when I looked closer Mom was laughing so hard tears were coming out of her eyes and Dad had his face under the faucet shouting something about being blind. Once Mom & Dad got themselves together they congratulated me on what an excellent shot I have; Dad even got his tape measure out to record the distance; apparently shooting poo 6 feet across a room was something unique. (If they would leave my diaper off for more than one second I could try to beat that record, but I guess they learned their lesson, because they are real quick these days to get that diaper back on me).

I'll try to keep you updated with my tales as I get older, I'm sure me and Daddy will keep doing things that make Mommy laugh every day!
