My Keiki First Birthday

I had such a fun pizza party for my first birthday! My Friend Alana made me a CD of all my favorite music to dance to.
I invited so many fun people, we needed 2 private rooms just to contain all of us. Of course it ended up with the kids running a muck in one, while the adults hung out in the other.

Yum Yum! My first birthday cake. I tried to blow out the candle, but it looked more fun to just grab that little fame ~ Mom didn't get any pictures of me going for the candle because she was too busy trying to keep me from getting burnt. (Whos idea was it anyway to put fire on a childs cake?!?!)
My favorite part was the blue frosting.
I was nice enough to share with my Dad. A little blue for everyone!
I don't think I even tried the rest of the cake ~ frosting all the way!
Just as I was beginning to get the hang of this adventure, my Mom said 'No More' I was NOT a happy camper to have my new favorite food taken away!

Now I'm ONE!

Lets rock out ~ From what people tell me, I'VE GOT MOVES!

Utah in video

Zoom Zoom... My cousin Cambden pushed me around in this thing all day - I had the best time!

I was trying to catch those little snowflakes, but in the end they were too fast for me.

Baby pop ups!

Adventures in Utah

I just love to climb into things! If I can get into it, I'll climb right up & plant myself there until either someone pulls me out, or I fall out (normally onto my head)There are dozens of pictures of me in little boxes, suitcases, laundry baskets - you name it, I've climbed into it. As you can see, while I was in Utah I found a few places just my size. The dog wasn't too happy that I decided to nap in her bed.Tika, the little dog with a big personality reluctantly allowed me to play in her kennel. By cousin B enjoyed that too, as he was able to lock me up -which he found very funny!I was lucky enough to see my first snow ~ all my family in Utah was disappointed because it was May, and snowing, but I was really excited because I've never seen anything like this before! Those little flakes are very hard to catch. There was so much snow on the ground, I finally got to touch it... BURRRRRR, that's cold, one handful & I'm done with the stuff! We went to a really cool aquarium too. I got to touch some slippery, slimy sting rays! Then off to Park City for 'Girls weekend.' My mom has me packed in snug as a bug in a rug for the ride up the canyon. It was pretty cold in Park City, but fortunately my cousin lent me some cloths so I could keep warm.Me & my cousin Addi riding the carousel at the zoo. I actually chose to ride that warthog. And of course, I've found one more thing to climb into ~ that's me Turtle Elle We even got to celebrate Uncle Danny's Birthday. It was such a fun surprise party! I was very interested in the fire, but my mom never let me get close enough to really inspect it - All I wanted to do was climb inside & touch all those pretty colors!?!

Floppy Elle

Maybe this video is only funny to my Mom & Dad. I was getting really sleepy, but didn't want to go to bed quite yet. Enjoy!

Happy Easter!

My first Easter! I went to an easter egg hunt on a farm, and this giant bunny came riding in on a horse! I happen to be fearless. I assume any animal I see is there for me to chase around and try to touch; these poor chickens had no idea how fast I can be when I get motivated (my mom never got a picture of me pulling out their feathers because she was too busy trying to make me let the poor birds go).

Ahhh... and the horses, fortunately there was a fence between me & them or I would have been climbing up their legs.

On Easter Sunday I had a few of my own friends over to hunt for some eggs.Of course I was more interested in the bowl the eggs were in than the eggs themselves!I got some bubbles for easter, they were so much fun. Me, Travis & Luke all loved them!My Dad was gone to Oahu, but Uncle Casey took us all on a very fun skateboard ride. He got so tired he had to stop, so we all cried until he couldn't take it anymore and pushed us around all evening!

I love to dance to any music I hear! Unfortunately while in the car seat I can't really shake & wiggle the way I want to, so I've started to do this head shaking groove whenever I can't fully dance to the music (My Mom says it makes her seasick just to watch me).

East Coast visitors...

I had such a great time with all my family from the east coast when they came to visit. We went out on a Dinner Cruise with everyone (10 of us!) We got to dance to the music, see whales, and of course eat a yummy dinner.
Here we all are: Uncle Jerry (he is hilarious!), Auntie Jenny who loves me so much (until I poop, then she passes me back to Dad), My Cousin Caleb (who I had so much fun playing games with), My Auntie Katie (who was always there to catch me before I got into too much trouble, I guess Moms just have super powers!), My Auntie Kate (who kept trying to catch a picture of me smiling, but I think I evaded the shot every time), My Pappy (I loved to snuggle up against his scratchy face!), My Nana (who spoils me rotten with gifts and love!), and of course Me & Dad; Mom is taking the photo, but that makes 10!
Don't forget the sunscreen Nana. Look what a pale Hawaiian I am!
My cousin Caleb playing at the pool with me.
We even went to a Luau for my Pappy's birthday. It was so fun, I ran around, and ate yummy Hawaiian food; I was so tired I fell sound asleep in the middle of the (very loud) fire show!
Aloha Auntie Jenny & Uncle Jerry. I miss you!
Who knew it could be so cold in Maui? Man, the summit of Haleakala was freezing! Fortunately Dad kept me bundled up (in the dogs blanket).
I miss you already! Love ELLE

Grandpa's Visit!

Me and my Gramps had such a fun time last month when he came to visit! We spent lots of time playing on the beach, and digging for crabs with my dog Suki. I really love to eat sand, and Gramps was trying hard to keep me from consuming too much.Well... He tried his best - I'm just very motivated when it comes to playing on the beach. I also got to go to a friends Princess Birthday Party; it was so fun, I swam in the pool, jumped in the princess bouncy castle and of course decorated my own crown!I love it when Dad gives me a bath, we get to splash so much that the whole tub gets full of bubbles. I don't think Mom likes it as much because the floor gets covered with bubbles too.

Oh yeah, I got new shoes. It was a little tough to figure out how to use them, but I am getting better every day.
